Congratulations, Carol, on being one of the lucky Golden Ticket winners this summer! Carol chose to receive the $25 e-Gift Card to Dick’s Sporting Goods to help her look the part as she stays fit.
Carol watched her mother struggle with health issues for several years and made the decision that she wasn’t going to follow in her footsteps. To help her get on a healthier path forward, she enrolled in a medically supervised weight loss clinic, started walking daily and eventually started running in several 5Ks. Not only did Carol lose some weight in the process, but she also completed two 10ks (one of them is pictured here)!
As she continues to make her wellness a priority, Carol has a motto: “If I don’t take the action to save my life by becoming healthier, who will?” She’s definitely in control, making great strides in her health and living life to the fullest.
